Recent and Upcoming Events

On 19 October, the Centro de Estudios de Postgrado y Educación Continua (CEPEC) at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile (USACH) hosted the third annual Training Data Lab workshop. This meeting was a valuable space to reflect on the advances and challenges we face as a team, as well as to present and discuss our latest research.

In the context of analysis with observational data, causal identification and inference are common challenges faced by researchers and statisticians. In this sense, the Foundation Analytics workshop “Propensity techniques and matching algorithms for observational data” given by our research associate, Bastián González-Bustamante, was an invaluable space to address these issues and share knowledge with the academic community.

On 18 November, our Training Data Lab research group held its second annual online workshop, allowing our members to meet and share their research. Despite the distance, our meeting successfully allowed us to maintain the connection and dialogue between group members.
