Élites políticas en América Latina: Socialización, trayectorias y capitales

Abstract

This issue 28 of Pléyade, Revista de Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales, entitled “Political Elites in Latin America: Socialisation, Trajectories and Capitals”, comprises papers that focus on the study of elites in the region from different approaches and perspectives of analysis. In a sense, this dossier can be considered a continuation of the special issues published in Política, Revista de Ciencia Política in 2014 (Joignant, 2014) and 2016 (González-Bustamante, 2016). This dossier presents five articles that focus particularly on the Argentinean and Chilean cases and a novel bibliometric review of the scientific production on the subject at the regional level.
