I am an associate professor at the Institute of International Studies at the Universidad de Chile. My teaching areas cover quantitative analysis methods, public opinion, comparative politics, Latin American politics and strategic analysis. I am a journalist from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and have an MA in Latin American Politics and Government and a PhD in Political Science from the University of Essex, United Kingdom.

My research mainly covers electoral behavior, public opinion, political communication, political parties, democracy in Latin America and public diplomacy.
