I am a political scientist with an MA in Psychology from the Universidad Diego Portales, Chile. Currently, I serve as a lecturer in the School of Political Science and am the director of the Laboratory for the Study of Radicalisation (LabRad) at the Universidad Diego Portales, Chile.
My research interests focus on studying all types of radicalisation from a psychosocial perspective, both at an individual level (i.e., exploring how a citizen becomes politically radicalised) and at a group level (i.e., analysing how the structure of a group promotes the formation of a sect through the radicalisation of its ideas). In addition, I study depressive symptomatology and its effects on political behaviour.
